The makers of Thank You have pulled a rabbit out of a hat by revealing Vidya Balan's role in the film. The actress is playing the character of Akshay Kumar's wife in upcoming romantic comedy film.

The news comes as a surprise for many, as Vidya Balan has not seen in promotional activities. Sources say that the movie bosses wanted to keep it under wraps, as a surprise element of the film. It also adds that the actress will be seen in flashback scenes, where she has played the role of Akshay Kumar's wife.

Akshay Kumar-Vidya Balan combination is considered as a successful jodi, as their chemistry worked well in their earlier movies Heyy Babyy and Bhool Bhulaiyaa. However, the movie also features Bobby Deol, Suniel Shetty, Celina Jaitley, Irrfan Khan, Sonam Kapoor in the key roles.

Thank You is directed by Anees Bazmee. The movie is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Twinkle Khanna. It will hit the screens on April 8.
