National Express and Storm have launched a nationwide search for models on coaches and at coach stations.
The approach follows that of shows like X Factor, which have revealed untapped talent in the UK. Some of the biggest names in modelling have been spotted in the most ordinary of places. Supermodel and fashion legend Kate Moss was spotted by Storm's managing director Sarah Doukas at an airport.Teenage young actress Kate Jarvis, who starred in the Hollywood film FishTank, was first noticed on the National Express C2C service at Tilbury railway station.
Among the search model helping to promote the campaign is Rebecca Thompson from Washington. The 18-year-old, who has just completed her A-levels at Central Newcastle High School for Girls, is taking a gap year to try her luck at modelling before going to university.She has signed up to Storm, and was spotted while on public transport in Newcastle.
The search is also open to those with a fantastic eye for who is hot and who is not.
Anyone travelling on a National Express coach or waiting at a UK coach station that spots a potential contender can also put them forward, as well as themselves for spotting them.Ms Doukas said: "We're really confident that after scouring National Express's services that we'll find some incredible British talent to work with.Every fashion model should have a few perfect black dresses in her closet.
